EHS Cheer Squad Reach Top 25 in State

The Effingham High School competitive cheerleading squad reached the Top 25 during the State Meet Friday in Bloomington.

While the group did not advance to Saturday's finals, they are the first EHS cheer squad to make it to State.

Squad members are Madilynn Stortzum, Hope Monnet, Zoe Hodge, Riley Arend, Ella Harmon, Mycha Donaldson, Madi Griffy, Anna Sigg, Savannah Morrissey, Bella Kronewitter, Regan Hopper, Logann Mayfield, Kaylee Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Gabbi Kreke, Hallee Lewis, Aila Woomer and Maddie Rieman. Dana Koester, Ashley Kreke and Anna Sigg coach at the EHS squad.
