Much of the work on infrastructure projects is paying the bills.

That's what the Teutopolis Village Board did at this week's meeting.

The Board made payments on environmental work on the Route 40 project, for work on the Pearl Street sidewalk project, for engineering work on several locations in Prairie View Subdivision, and for transfer of real estate in Prairie View.

Teutopolis board members also approved a $1,000 donation toward the MAPPING program planned for the village. The long-range strategy project is slated to begin later this month. Also approved was the release of motor fuel tax funds for street maintenance work.
