Brownstown Man Killed in Crash on Route 40 in Fayette County

A Brownstown man is dead and two others injured after a crash in Fayette County Saturday evening.
Illinois State Police report that a vehicle driven by 28-year old Craig Frailey of Brownstown was traveling eastbound on Route 40, just west of Bluff City, when it left the roadway, slid sideways down an embankment, and rolled several times.
Along with Frailey, two passengers in the vehicle, 23-year old Brittany Hall of Ramsey and 32-year old Ryan Ward of Brownstown, were all taken to Fayette County Hospital.
Frailey was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
