Numbers in on Visitors to Wonderland in Lights

The numbers are in on those who visited Wonderland in Lights in Community Park during the Christmas season.
$16,655.94 was collected in donations from those who drove through the holiday light display. 6,230 vehicles made the trip through the display this season.
A statement from the City of Effingham Convention and Visitors Bureau indicates, "These donations are crucial to our continued success at the Wonderland in Lights as each season's funds sustain the displays for the following year. We look forward to purchasing new displays to help light up the City of Effingham again next year."
The statement also offered thanks to those who volunteer to help with Wonderland in Lights: "Our volunteers are essential to the success of Wonderland in Lights and their time is greatly appreciated."
The statement concluded: "We would additionally like to send a special thank you to all who visited the lights this year, and donated. Your donation will help keep the lights going for years to come!"
