Details Released on Crash from Earlier This Month

Details are in on a crash resulting in injuries from earlier this month.

The crash happened just after 5pm on December 16 at Banker and Southernaire Drive.

Effingham City Police report a vehicle driven by 56-year-old Bryce Brown of Effingham skidded on the snow-covered roadway and struck a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Michael Briggerman of Effingham.

A passenger in Brown's vehicle, 38-year-old Angela Brown of Effingham, was injured in the crash, but declined treatment.

No citations were issued.
