Musgrave Withdraws from State Rep Race; Throws Support to Niemerg

Fairfield's Cory Musgrave has withdrawn from the race for the Republican nomination for 109th District State Representative.

Musgrave, a church pastor, was one of three candidates for the nomination, along with Adam Niemerg of Effingham County and Richland County Sheriff Andy Hires. He said his responsibility to his wife, five children and church should take priority and he is no longer able to give his campaign to serve as State Representative 100%. 

Musgrave is also encouraging his supporters to support Niemerg.
