Injury Crash On Sunday Reported by City Police

Effingham city police have released information on a crash with injuries from earlier this week.

The crash happened at Fayette and Henrietta just before 5:30pm Sunday. Police report a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Zachery Wolfe of Effingham rear-ended a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Terry Braun of Teutopolis.

A passenger in Braun's vehicle, 55-year-old Laura Braun of Teutopolis, was injured in the crash, but refused treatment.

Wolfe was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
