Second Property Tax Installment Due Friday

The second installment of your Effingham County property tax bill is due Friday.

Taxes may be paid at any financial institution in the county, or at the County Treasurer's office located on the second floor of the Effingham County Office Building west across the street from the Courthouse Museum. Make sure you take your bill along when making your payments online.

You can also pay your bill online.

Any bills not paid by November 1 will be subject to a 1-1/2% per month penalty for late payment of the bills.
