McCammack Pleads Not Guilty, Back in Court in December

The Fayette County man charged with shooting another man in September was in court Tuesday.

33-year-old Trevor McCammack of Herrick is charged with attempted first degree murder, as well as aggravated battery of a firearm and and aggravated discharge of a firearm in the shooting of David Troxell of Brownstown on September 23. Troxell went to a rural residence and sought assistance, saying he had been shot. He was taken for treatment and McCammack was taken into custody later that morning.

During the Tuesday court appearance, McCammack pled not guilty. No trial date has been set. McCammack is due in back in court for a pre-trial hearing the morning of December 3. He is being held under $1 million bond.
