After a nine-year run, Rich Jorn's performance in Effingham is coming to an end.

The Artistic Director at the Effingham Performance Center, Jorn has been hired as RiverPark Center Executive Director in Owensboro, Kentucky. He will start his new duties on November 4.

During an appearance on The Morning Show Friday morning, Jorn said he has enjoyed his time in Effingham, and said this is the longest he's lived in one place in his adult life. The opportunity, though, to work at a venue that features more theatrical performances was a real draw.

Jorn has directed Children's Theatre and staged productions, and has booked the artist series at the venue the past several years. In that time, the EPC has been able to get on a more stable financial footing.

Jorn and his wife, Libbie, have four children, Xavier, Izzy, Jackson and Alexandria.
