Altamont School Board Acts on Numerous Personnel Items

The Altamont school board dealt with a number of personnel items at this month's meeting.

The Board approved the resignation of Mitchell Martin as boys JV basketball coach, and named him boys 8th grade coach. Logan Hill was named JV coach and Trenton Kull was named fresh/soph boys coach.

Also, the Board named Mildred Cowger as 7th grade volleyball coach; approved Sarah Zuber as an aide at Altamont Grade School; approved the resignation of Karie Schultz as grade school collaborative team leader; approved a maternity leave for Lindsay VanBlaricum; approved the resignation of Amanda Tonn as a cook; and approved employment of Kyle Bourgeois as a teacher at Altamont Grade School.

The Board also approved Kerry Wolff as a delegate to the state school board convention, with Darren Feldkamp as the alternate; approved an intergovernmental agreement with Mound Township for snow removal for the next two school years; and approved a Title I grade school parent involvement policy.
