Koerner Distributor, Local Bar Owners Donate to United Way of Effingham County

Koerner Distributor, Inc. and bar owners presented a check to the United Way of Effingham County in the amount of $11,000 for funds raised during the 2012 Annual Barstool Golf fundraiser.

Participating bars included The Elks, Orchard Inn, Scrubby's, Brickbat, Ping's, Kenter's, Foxx's Den, Teutopolis Knights of Columbus Hall, The Office, and Effingham Knights of Columbus Building.

Night Moves Party Bus provided buses for complimentary shuttle service to those participating in the event.

This year's event will be held Saturday, April 13.

21 local Partner Agencies receive funding from the Effingham County United Way campaign.
