The Friends of St. Anthony’s recently received proceeds from St. Anthony High School’s “Pink Out” basketball game against Stewardson-Strasburg High School, held January 18 at the Enlow Center.

The “Pink Out” game included fundraisers such as selling t-shirts, holding raffles, selling cookies, and receiving donations from a “Jeans Day” at St. Anthony High School and a Spirit Day at St. Anthony Grade School. In addition, the Friends of St. Anthony’s sold pink wristbands at the game. All proceeds from these activities as well as the gate receipts at the game were donated to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Wellness Center to support breast cancer awareness and education.  The total proceeds raised from the “Pink Out” game and activities were $3,413.

For more information about the Friends of St. Anthony’s, contact Michael Wall, Executive Director of Fund Development, at 217-347-1854, or visit the hospital web site at stanthonyshospital.org.
