Webster, Tedrick Winners at Fair Talent Show

Sidney Webster and Lanie Tedrick were the senior and junior division winners Sunday evening at the 2019 Effingham County Fair Talent Show.

Webster won with her vocal performance of "American Honey", accompanied on guitar by her dad, Phil. 

Tedrick was the junior division winner with her vocal rendition of "Southbound". 

The first place finishers will get to compete in Springfield in January at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Convention. If they do well there, they could perform at the 2020 Illinois State Fair and DuQuoin State Fair.

The second place finisher in the senior division was Andrew Moeller who sang and played keyboard on "Rocket Man". The second place finisher in the junior division was the team of Carita Hawk-Gentry and Amelia Clark who danced and lip synced to "Anything You Can Do". 

Other senior division performers were Austen Hagen and Dalanie Bell. Other junior division performers were Kinley Will, Avery Bohnhoff, Alex and Ben Schottman, and Cloie Bailey, Savannah Fear and Eva Wendling.
