After a highly successful Friday night featuring local competition, Saturday will be the professional end of the 2019 EffingHAM-JAM.

Here's the Saturday schedule of activities in downtown Effingham:

Farmers Market--8am to noon

Courthouse Museum--10am to 2pm

Pigs and Pancakes Breakfast--8 to 10am

Official Kansas City Barbecue Society BBQ Competition--noon to 2pm, with the awards ceremony at 4pm

Kids Activities-Power Wheels Derby--1 to 2pm, Bumper Cars and Obstacle Course sponsored by The Equity

Dilly Bar Contest--1 to 2pm sponsored by Dairy Queen

As far as music, here's the Saturday lineup:

EffingHAM-JAM Open Mic--8 to 11am

The Troubadors--11:15am to 12:30pm

Quick and Bradley--12:45 to 2pm

Bumpin'--2:15 to 4pm

The weekend proceeds will benefit the Chamber Foundation, which provides scholarships to both high school graduates and adults returning to the classroom.
