Pack the Bus 2019 a Big Hit

Friday's Pack the Bus event at the 979XFM/KJ Country 102.3 studios turned out to be highly successful.

In addition to a big load of school supplies, more than $2,000 in cash was donated by listeners. Many school children in the area will benefit from your generosity.

Among the donations was a $500 gift from Effingham Knights of Columbus Council #665. Pictured left to right are Effingham Council Grand Knight Bob Utz, 4th Degree Faithful Navigator Joe LaSarge and Catholic Charities Program Coordinator Brigid Hemrich, who staffed the bus throughout the day.
