Sacred Heart School will host an Open House and Kindergarten “Sneak Peek” on Tuesday,
February 5, from 4:30-7:00pm at its facility located at 407 South Henrietta Street in Effingham.
Visitors to the school will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with teachers, administrators, and parents, as well as to tour the school’s state-of-the-art classrooms, library, and computer lab. Hands-on activities will be taking place in the classrooms, and refreshments will be served.
New technologies will be showcased, including iPads, laptops, interactive science lab, SMARTBoards, Senteo Interactive Response Systems, Rosetta Stone voice-response Spanish instruction, Leapsters, Digi’s and more. These technologies provide teachers with powerful tools to engage students and keep them interested in learning.
“We are excited to welcome interested students and their families to our open house,” said Dr. Dan Clasby, Principal of Sacred Heart School. “Our students benefit from a Christ-centered learning environment while acquiring the skills necessary to meet the demands of higher education and career-based learning.”
Sacred Heart School is currently enrolling students in Preschool (age 3-5), Kindergarten, and grades 1-8. Children of all Faiths are welcome to attend Sacred Heart School, where all subjects are taught from a Christian perspective.
