Schuette Hired as Sheriff's Deputy

The Effingham County Sheriff's Department has hired Jonathan Schuette as a full-time sheriff's deputy.

Schuette is a graduate of St. Anthony High School and is a US Marine Corps veteran, serving two overseas deployments. He is currently serving in the Army National Guard.

Schuette has been a fulltime police officer since 2016, working for the Greenup Police Department and the Casey Police Department.
