Hollinshead Murder Suspect Due in Court Later This Month

The suspect in the shooting death of Effingham County native Stacia Hollinshead is due in court later this month.

Ulisses Medina Espinosa, the ex-husband of Hollinshead, is charged with first degree intentional homicide in connection with the March 23 incident at the home of Medina Espinosa's parents in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

The case was initially scheduled to be in Dodge County, Wisconsin Circuit Court Thursday, but the hearing was moved as the prosecutor is in a jury trial.

During a preliminary hearing on April 25, probable cause was found to hold Medina Espinosa over for trial. He is now to be arraigned on May 30.

Medina Espinosa remains in custody under $2 million cash bond.
