St. Anthony Goes 0-3 at State Scholar Bowl Finals

Things didn't go the way St. Anthony students at the State Scholar Bowl Meet wanted, but they still made it to State, and that's the bottom line.

The Bullpups went 0-3 in preliminary competition Friday afternoon, eliminating them from further competition.

Peoria Academy defeated St. Anthony 305 to 110, Normal Epiphany beat St. Anthony 245 to 175, and Aviston won over St. Anthony 295 to 60.

Members of the St. Anthony squad are Anthony Kreke, Ashley Dorris, Joanna Mitchell, Christian Meyer, Mac Levin, Kolten Lange, Elliot Frisbie, Carson Fallert, Maggie Broeker Wright, Greer Weis, Calvin Sudkamp, Max Seachrist, Evan Meyer, Madison Hoene and Cailey Dorris.

Roberta Meyer is the coach of the St. Anthony Scholar Bowl squad.
