SAGS Scholar Bowl Team Headed to State

The St. Anthony Grade School Scholar Bowl team is State bound.

The group of junior high students will be competing Friday at Peoria Civic Center. St. Anthony qualified for IESA State competition after winning its own Sectional on Monday.

Team members are Cailey Dorris, Madison Hoene, Evan Meyer, Max Seachrist, Calvin Sudkamp, Greer Weis, Maggie Broeker Wright, Carson Fallert, Elliot Frisbie, Kolten Lange, Mac Levin, Christian Meyer, Joanna Mitchell, Ashley Dorris and Anthony Kreke. Roberta Meyer coaches the Scholar Bowl team.

St. Anthony will be involved in three Pool Play matches on Friday. St. Anthony will take on Peoria Academy at 1pm, Normal Epiphany at 2pm, and Aviston at 3pm. The finals are set for 5pm.
