Teutopolis school board members Tuesday took action on several personnel items.

The Board approved the resignations of Clara Schmidt as grade school head cook, Kaye Kimpling as high school girls tennis coach, and Sharon Roepke as high school secretary; Roepke's resignation is effective August 9.

The Board hired Christina Brown and Hanna Apple as high school fall play co-directors, Meredith Dust as high school Math teacher, Brooke Hoene as high school cross country coach, Brian Koester as unit transportation director effective June 3, Alli Brumleve as grade school DO student aide, Theresa Bushur as a fifth grade teacher, and Michael Martin as a high school English teacher. The Board also approved Dave Duncan and Elizabeth Braunecker as volunteer swim coaches, and named Leslie Hille board treasurer.

The Teutopolis board also approved summer school teachers Amy Nice, Becky Schumacher, Randi Yager, and Cassidy Lowry. They also approved Angie Hotze as a summer library aide.

The Board discussed a waiver to allow district employees to bring their children to Unit 50 for school tuition-free, but there was no decision. A decision was reached on who will attend end-of-year events; Troy Ozenkoski and Brad Koester will attend high school graduation, while Koester and Chad Hewing will attend junior high promotion.
