A Clay City woman was injured in a crash in Flora early Thursday morning.

The crash happened at 2:50am on US Route 50, just west of Worthey Street in Flora.

State police report 22-year-old Alexis Shock was traveling westbound on the highway when her vehicle traveled across the center lane, across the eastbound lane of traffic, and off the south shoulder of the roadway. The car then struck a traffic sign, drove down into a ditch and came to rest.
