The first annual Bulldog Bash will be held at St. Anthony High School on Saturday, April 27. This will be the final celebration of the 150th Anniversary of Catholic Education and Formation, and the proceeds will benefit St. Anthony Schools.

The Bulldog Bash includes several activities that appeal to people of all ages and the entire Effingham Community is invited. The night will kick off with a golf ball drop just outside the high school beginning at 5:45pm. Golf balls will be dropped from a crane, and the closest golf ball to the pin will win $2500 in cash.

In addition to the golf ball drop, the evening activities include a ‘Walk Down Memory Lane’ museum display, silent and live auction items, a live painting performance with Jamie Stang and musical guests, bartender challenges, and live band performance by 8 South Band from Nashville, TN.

Tickets for the event are $40 in advance and may be purchased online at www.bulldogbash.stanthony.com or at the St. Anthony Parish office located at 101 E. Virginia in Effingham. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $50 each. Admission is for adults ages 21 and older. Tickets include entry into the event and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

To participate in the golf ball drop, tickets are $50 per ball and only 500 will be sold. Winner does not need to be present to win.
