Don't be confused by those Facebook posts saying it's closing; Lifeline Christian Books and Gifts in Effingham is alive and well.

Ken Goeckner of Lifeline said some people heard that a national chain of stores known as Lifeway is closing, and confused it with the local Lifeline store in Effingham. He said the local store is doing just fine.

Lifeline Christian Books and Gifts is open daily other than Sundays and is located in the Lincolnland Building in Effingham.
