Effingham County native Stacia Hollinshead was fatally wounded by a gunshot over the weekend, and her ex-husband is being held in connection with the shooting.
The 30-year-old Hollinshead died in a home in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin around 2:40pm Saturday. Ulisses W. Medina Espinosa of Beaver Dam is being held in the Dodge County, Wisconsin, Detention Facility. Beaver Dam police say the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
