Powless Named Clay Resident Circuit Judge

Clay County State's Attorney Joel Powless has been appointed Clay County Resident Circuit Judge.

The appointment is effective March 1. Powless will succeed Resident Circuit Judge Robin Todd, who is retiring.

The Clay County Board has scheduled a special meeting for Tuesday evening to select a successor for Powless as state's attorney.
