Fire Damages Home on Effingham's Northeast Side

Effingham firefighters were out overnight to a house fire on the city's northeast side.

No one was injured.

The fire originated in a hot tub or the electrical system operating the hot tub in the basement of the home.

Firefighters had the fire out by about 1am.
