The Windsor school board finalized administrative assignments at this week's meeting.

Erik Van Hoveln, who has been serving as district superintendent and junior/senior high school principal the past two years, will shed the principal's duties at the end of the current school year. The Board gave Van Hoveln a five-year contract as superintendent, paying him $129,461 in the coming year with his pay to be negotiated annually in subsequent years.

Meanwhile, the Board hired Jennifer Bridges as junior/senior high school principal. Bridges was given a two-year contract and will be paid $80,000 the first year of the agreement. Bridges, who will take over the principal's duties from Van Hoveln on July 1, is currently a Social Studies teacher in the Neoga school district.

The Windsor board this week also approved Mariah Bolin as assistant junior high track coach, and approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Stew-Stras district to share an Industrial Arts instructor in the coming school year.

Windsor board members also plan to meet Febrary 25 to discuss summer building projects.
