Altamont school board members reviewed candidates for the board in the April 2 election at this month's meeting.

Candidates are Shelly Kuhns, Kerry Wolff, Alan Kollman, Amanda Miller and Dane Milleville.

The Board approved software from SDS for financials and payroll for $14,500 the first year and $6,300 for each of the following two years. Also approved was the purchase of a 36-passenger bus from Central States Bus for a maximum price of $93,420 including trade-in. A replacement cafeteria bid was approved from Rapid Food Service at a cost to the District of $2,306.72 after receiving a $26,388 grant.

The Altamont board also approved Kyle Stuemke as a volunteer high school spring baseball coach.
