Arrest Made in Mattoon Stabbing

Mattoon Police arrested Diamond S. Singleton, 24 years of age of Mattoon, for the offense of Aggravated Domestic Battery.  

The charge alleges that on Wednesday evening while at a residence in the 1800 block of S. 9th Street in Mattoon, and during a domestic disturbance, Ms. Singleton spat on, and stabbed a male subject with a knife.  

The male received medical treatment and was released.

Ms. Singleton was taken to the Coles County Jail.
