Here's the Saturday evening update on the winter storm from the National Weather Service. This was issued about 6:30pm:

Periods of moderate snow will remain possible across central Illinois north of I-70 this evening. Mainly rain is expected south of I-70. Additional snowfall totals of 2 to 4 inches will be possible as another wave of snow pushes northward into the area. The resulting storm total snowfall amounts will reach 7 to 13 inches in many areas. Lesser amounts are expected south of I-70.
