Annual Taste of T-Town This Saturday

The 8th Annual Taste of T-Town event sponsored by Dieterich Bank will be held this Saturday, January 12 at the Teutopolis Banquet Hall. Families will enjoy food tastings from 20 local restaurants and area residents from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In addition to wonderful food, entertainment for the evening will begin with Lauren Siemer and Christian Deters playing from 6:30-7:30 PM. Local celebrity, Dakota Esker, will be playing from 7:30 - 9:00 PM. All proceeds raised from this event benefit the Catholic Heart Work Camp’s Mission Trip.

This year, attendees will enjoy an array of foods from businesses such as Kountry Kitchen, Niemerg’s Steakhouse, Old Mac’s, McMahon Meats and Pizza Man. Local chefs include: Rita Habing, Harold and Lenora Drees, The Habing Family, Tom and Lisa Uthell, Kristy and Angie Hotze, Kathy Willenborg, Dick Hawickhorst, St. Francis Secular Franciscans, Russ Runde, The Buhnerkempe Bunch, and Janelle Vogt.

Tickets, 12 tastings for $10, can be purchased in advance from any Catholic Heart Work Camp student, St. Francis of Assisi Church, or Dieterich Bank’s Teutopolis Branch. Tickets can also be purchased at the event for $1 per tasting ticket.
