The Pritzker Administration has announced who the next director of Illinois agriculture will be.

John Sullivan will take over the Department in the coming year. The former State Senator from the 47th District served as chair of the Senate's Agriculture and Conservation Committee while in office.

Sullivan's ag roots include a family auction business in Rushville that specializes in farm real estate and machinery sales.
