A Mattoon woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Coles County Tuesday.

Coles County Sheriff's Department reports the person killed was 38-year-old April Fischer.

Deputies report a vehicle driven by 56-year-old James W. Miller of Terre Haute, Indiana was southbound on Coles County Road 1100 East and failed to stop at the intersection with Route 316. Miller's vehicle collided with the Fischer vehicle. Both vehicles ended up in a field.
