Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan is using some of her final few weeks in office to investigate allegations of abuse by Catholic church clergy in the state.

The Springfield Catholic Diocese in response Thursday released a list of clergy with what the Diocese terms "substantial allegations of sexual abuse of minors" as determined by their Review Board.

Bishop Thomas John Paprocki said, "Any single case of abuse is one too many, but this review has shown the positive impact of a zero-tolerance approach, and we are committed to sustain these efforts with heightened vigilance."

Paprocki was one of several bishops earlier this year who complained about a lack of action at the US Conference of Catholic Bishops on the issue.

Here is the list of clergy who were at one time assigned to the Springfield Diocese with substantiated allegations of sexual abuse since the Review Board was put in place in 2002.
