Both drivers were injured in a crash earlier this month in Effingham. Details on the crash were released today by Effingham City Police.

The crash happened on November 15 just before 3pm. Police say a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Amber Evans of Shumway struck a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Seth Uphold of Kinmundy.

Evans declined treatment, but Uphold was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Evans was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
