Brownstown school board members discussed the proposed 2018 tax levy at this month's meeting, with a vote on the levy at the Board's December meeting.

The Board also heard the findings of the district's school report cards.

Board members also hired Danyele Boaz as a long-term substitute teacher for the balance of the school year.
