68th Louisville Fall Harvest Festival This Weekend

The 68th Louisville Fall Harvest Festival will take place this Friday through Sunday.

Friday events will include a cake or cupcake decorating and pie baking contest. Drop off entries at the Clay County State Bank between 9am and 1pm on Friday

There will be a Kids Day Halloween Parade on the square at 2:00 Friday; the North Clay Sports Boosters will sell ribeye sandwiches on the square Friday night; a Chamber silent pie/cake auction; a Daszle performance at 6pm; the Louisville Fall Harvest Festival Queen and Little Miss Pageants at 6:30pm; arts and crafts vendors; pony rides; and a petting zoo.

On Friday night, there will be free popcorn, cotton candy, and chili, plus apple dumplings for purchase.

Saturday events will include a Rotary pancake breakfast from 7am to 1pm at the Rotary Building; County Line Sod Busters activities including a tractor show at 7am, tractor games at 9am, and a pedal pull at 11am; a Fall Harvest Festival 5K and one-mile run at 9am including a kids dash at 8:30am; a car show from 9am to noon; a cornhole tournament at 10am; the Fall Festival Junior Miss and Princess Pagents at 10am; Power and Grace Tumbling at 11:30am; Deputy Heuerman and K-9 Fallax Demonstration; and the annual parade at 2pm. The queen pageant winners will be announced immediately following the parade.

The Louisville Chamber of Commerce is conducting a whole smoked pork loin sale on the square. Orders will be taken during the festival, with pickup on Halloween at the Salt and Strings Store.

Things will wrap up Sunday morning with a meat shoot at 11:00 sponsored by Louisville American Legion Post #914.
