One Injured in Two-Car Crash in Effingham

One driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Effingham Monday afternoon.

City police report the crash occurred at 2:44pm east of the intersection of Fayette and the Fayette frontage road. A vehicle driven by 25-year-old Grant Johnson of Effingham struck a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Raymond Koterba of Effingham.

Koterba was injured and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

Johnson was cited for failure to yield.
