Effingham Man Injured in Crash Monday

Details are available concerning a crash earlier this week in which an Effingham man was injured.

City police report the crash occurred at 7:25am Monday at the intersection of 5th and Fayette. A vehicle driven by 58-year-old Anthony Jewett of Effingham struck a motorcycle operated by 56-year-old Steven Langhorst of Effingham.

Langhorst was injured and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Jewett was cited for failure to yield.
