Crash Wednesday Night Involving Truck and Pickup Pulling Trailer On Interestate Near Teutopolis

A crash involving a pickup truck pulling a trailer and a straight truck occurred Wednesday about 7pm on Interstate 70 Westbound about four miles west of Montrose.

Teutopolis Fire Department personnel report the pickup and trailer was found upright in the median and the two-ton straight truck was upright on the north side of the interstate facing eastbound. Debris from the crash blocked both westbound lanes.

Teutopolis firefighters checked for injuries, removed crash debris from the roadway and provided traffic control. Abbott EMS and Illinois State Police assisted at the scene.
