Mason resident Dylan White has been sentenced to three years in prison for his role in a mob action in Edgewood early in 2016.

The sentence for the 25-year-old White comes with a recommendation from the Court for impact incarceration, also known as prison "boot camp". Rather than a sentencing hearing Thursday, attorneys for both the prosecution and the defense jointly recommended the impact incarceration remedy, which was accepted by Judge Kevin Parker.

White had initially been sentenced to 30 months probation and payment of his share of close to $16,000 in restitution. White's probation was later revoked due to subsequent violations, which he admitted in June of this year.
