Effingham County Fair Horse Races Canceled for Second Day, Tractor Pull Tonight Canceled

The continuing rainfall continues to play havoc with activities at the Effingham County Fair.

Harness racing at this year's fair has been canceled for a second straight day today. The plan now is to begin racing at 11am Tuesday, starting with Sunday's card, then the two Big 10 circuit races that had been scheduled for Monday, and then run the full card of racing scheduled for Tuesday. We will have every race Tuesday on KJ Country 102.3.

Also, tonight's Hasting's Filters and Dust and Son truck, tractor and garden tractor pull action has been canceled.

There is a chance of more rain tonight and on Tuesday, but the rest of the week looks sunny and warmer.
