Shelbyville Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle accident occurred at 8:46am Saturday, south of Heartville on US Route 45, just south of 870th Ave.

Nathan E. Miller, 37 of Shelbyville, was traveling behind another motorcycle that was slowing down due to a flat tire. When Miller applied the front brake to slow down, the front tire locked up and flipped the motorcycle, throwing Miller from the cycle.

Miller was transported to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment of his injuries.
