Neoga Teen Suspect in Mattoon Burglary

A Neoga teenager is a suspect in a residential burglary in Mattoon.

18-year-old Bowen E.T. Sidwell has been arrested along with a Mattoon resident, 21-year-old Michael Vance. Sidwell and Vance were arrested for their alleged roles in entering an apartment in the 2100 block of Prairie Avenue in Mattoon at 6:34pm Friday. The pair are alleged to have removed items from the apartment without permission.

In court Monday, Sidwell's bond was set at $10,000. He is due back in court on July 9 for a preliminary hearing.
