An Altamont man has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for aggravated battery.

28-year-old Charles Moseley had been arrested in 2016 and placed on probation for an incident in which he placed his hands around the neck of a person knowing that person was pregnant.

Since that time, Moseley is involved in another aggravated battery case in Douglas County and also tested positive for THC during a drug screening. That led to his re-sentencing Monday to the prison time.
