Altamont School Board to Hire Superintendent Wednesday

Altamont school board members are to meet Wednesday evening to hire a superintendent.

The new superintendent will succeed Jeff Fritchtnitch, who is departing the district to become superintendent of the Mt. Vernon School District.

The meeting is set for 6:30pm Wednesday at the Unit offices at Altamont Community High School.
