A Vandalia man has received lengthy prison terms after pleading guilty to sex offenses in Fayette County Circuit Court.

29-year-old Matthew B. Crawford pleaded guilty to two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault. Crawford was sentenced to 15 years in prison for one offense and 10 years in prison for the other offense. A third similar offense was dismissed.

The sentences will not run together, they will be served consecutively.

Crawford will face three years to life mandatory supervised release once out of prison and must register as a lifetime sex offender.
