Two South Carolina Men Injured in Interstate Crash

Two Sumter, South Carolina men were injured Sunday morning near Altamont in a crash.
State police say a semi driven by 49-year-old Aaron Reed was westbound one mile west of Altamont at 6:46am when the crash occurred. The rig drove off into the median and rolled over.
Reed and his passenger, 55-year-old Glen Pitts, were both injured and were transported via ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Reed was cited for improper lane usage.
